Originally released in ultra-limited quantities of 35 on tape in 2006 (the "Christmas Ragas" cassette), the long track "Wind & Strings From The Golden Crescent" stands out as a foggy journey into the Middle-Eastern/Indian traditional music, with images of Kadri Gopalnath's raga playing immersed in a fog of delays and lo-fi tape muddiness. For all the lovers of Canary Records' outputs, Nath Family's tape discography on Hanson Records and meditative/new age music with its gaze turned toward the East: this should be your next addition to your record collection. Re-mastered from the original sources (for the Dreamsheep digital re-release) by Valerio Cosi himself.
